Due to our continued success, we are seeking an IT & data dashboard developer in Cambridge, Ohio. 

SUMMARY & SCOPE: The IT & Data Dashboard Developer supports the digital infrastructure and dashboard development for steel bridge fabrication and assembly projects. This role focuses on creating, maintaining, and managing dashboards and data integrations across departments to improve operational efficiency, visibility, and coordination. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineering, fabrication, procurement, and project management teams to implement and support systems that enable real-time data access and visualization. 

Job Responsibilities: 

Dashboard Development & Data Integration 

  • Build and maintain dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools to display real-time and historical data across fabrication, inventory, and project operations. 

  • Connect dashboards to data sources including ERP systems, spreadsheets, production logs, and inventory databases. 

  • Ensure dashboards are intuitive, accurate, up to date, and aligned with user and project requirements. 

  • Automate data updates and ensure consistent visual standards across dashboards. 

  • Work closely with teams across departments to gather requirements for dashboard functionality and layout. 

  • Document system workflows, dashboard structures, and data integration processes. 

  • Provide basic support and training to staff on dashboard use and data tools. 

IT Support & System Management 

  • Support and maintain fabrication-related IT systems, including ERP software, inventory tracking, and digital document control systems. 

  • Act as liaison between fabrication teams and external IT service providers or software vendors. 

  • Help ensure data security, system backups, and compliance with internal IT policies. 

  • Assist with the integration of new software tools and technologies into the fabrication workflow. 

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 

  • Experience with dashboard tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent. 

  • Familiarity with ERP systems and manufacturing/fabrication environments. 

  • Proficiency in Excel and understanding of data systems or database connections (e.g., SQL, APIs, flat files). 

  • Strong technical troubleshooting and communication skills. 

  • Detail-oriented with a practical approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
